It would be >>>great<<< if I could shut this off...
-
I agree. It drives me nuts.
-
There's a lot of negative energy in this thread.

I Normaly Read When I'm Driving, So It Does Not Drive Me Nuts.

Title scrolling -- it seemed like a good idea at the time. I still like it most of the time.
It only scrolls when the mouse is over that pane, right?
-
I prefer to play short songs nowadays - it works for me...
Listening to: '"40"' from 'War' by 'U2' on Media Jukebox

how about "One" by Three Dog Night, or "Theme from Zero Zero" by Zero Zero.
OK, I can't even find any scrolling . . . .
Listening to: '21' from 'Boondoggle' by 'Lucksmiths' on Media Jukebox

Other than U2 the best I can do is
7 - Moby
Fror those who like scrolling:
Listening to: 'Moya' from 'Slow Riot For New Zero Kanada' by 'Godspeed You Black Emperor!' on Media Jukebox
(and this has got to be beatable)
can anyone recommend a 21" monitor?

Oops - pressed wrong button:
Listening to: 'Everybody's Got Something To Hide Except Me and My Monkey' from 'The White Album CD2' by 'The Beatles' on Media Jukebox

I think the scrolling feature is fantastic.
Listening to: 'Welcome To Planet M##########r/Psychoholic Slag' from 'La Sexorcisto (Devil Music, Volume 1)' by 'White Zombie' on Media Jukebox

It drives me nuts too. Wish it stayed still. It just oscillates back & forth, back & forth, left to right. It oscillates all the time regardless where the mouse is..
The location of the oscillating song title is in the upper right screen (visualizations window, Track Info screen). The offending oscillations are under the Main, Lyrics, Notes boxes & just under the blurry blue, picture (wish there was a better picture there).
I imagine the song title oscillates because when the title is too big to fit the box the back & forth, left to right oscillations would make since. Only problem is I don’t have any song titles that long to need the oscillations. A much better way would be to only oscillate when the title exceeds the size of the box. Any chance of this happening?

Doc, you can probably turn that off with Vis Studio.
The scrolling I was refering to was in lower left hand corner of the mega me display (above the time and volume controls).
Listening to: 'Cat People (Putting Out Fire)' from 'Let's Dance' by 'David Bowie' on Media Jukebox

...was it something I said...?
It's the scrolling above the volume controls in MegaMe, and also in MiniMe. Possibly a stupid request? In WinAmp, you can shut it off -- if you want to see the rest of the title you can drag it with your mouse. I don't have the best graphics card, so it's more of jerk than scroll -- as I use my laptop while it's playing, it's sort of a distraction -- probably just me though...
-
You want scrolling? Try this...
Listening to: 'Several Species Of Small Furry Animals Gathered Together In A Cave And Grooving With A Pict' from 'Ummagumma' by 'Pink Floyd' on Media Jukebox

Doof - good to "see you"!!!
-
Hey, thanks.

I've been in one of my "lurker" moods. Just not much to say.
I'm going on vacation (Cozumel) on June 26th, until July 8th, so I won't even be around to lurk.

Hi Mysticeti;
On my copy of MJ (8.302) the song titles (in Mega-Me) only scrolls when the title is too large for the box… just the way I like it. Also the mouse pointer must be in the left hand side of MJ 8 for the scrolling to start.
Now if they could do the same for oscillating song title in the upper right screen (visualizations window, Track Info screen). The offending oscillations are under the Main, Lyrics, Notes boxes & just under the blurry blue, picture (wish there was a better picture there).
-
Doof - good to have you back from lurkdom if only temporarily. Have a good vacation!
-
Thanks, I will.

I'm going to be under the water for as much of it as possible.

Shallow dives, I hope?
I'd hate to see your legs sticking up in the air with your head embedded into the ground like some sort of Looney Tunes cartoon.
