Post by: mb1 on September 04, 2010, 08:47:45 am
Error log at end of this message. Error appears frequently. Appears to be related to buffer stuttering. Buffer problem has existed since MC 15.  Methodically configured buffers,  and realted options but buffers still stutter. More frequently when other programs working. MC alone on system still has problem. System is Win 7-64, WASAPI, 6 GIG memory. MC configured with WASAPI, 16 or 24 bits, 44  or 48 hz with no other DSP features used.

JRWorker is used to analyze and thumbnail videos.  The crash shows the Directshow filter "PSIParserMCE.ax" is crashing.

I'm not familiar with that filter.  You might just try uninstalling it, or configure Media Center to not use it for whatever video types you are using (Options > Video).

Error not occurring now. Wasn't MC video settings as all are as installed. Only thing running was MC cover art update.  Know what to look for if it happens again. thanks.

From a quick Google search, the PSIParserMCE.ax is a Hauppauge filter. You may want to update your Hauppauge drivers.
