Hey there.. I have a little quandary. WinXP has a neat little feature for viewing folders with media in them. If you set up the folder right, it will show information such as Artist, Album, Track No., etc. when using Windows Explorer. This worked perfectly fine for me until I upgraded to MJ 8.0. I just tried ripping two different CD's.. and though the information is showing in Media Jukebox.. and in Winamp.. it is not showing in Windows Explorer anymore. Is this perhaps due to the new mp3 encoder's method of storing info?

Question for you... do you have ID3v2 tags? If you do, Windows Explorer won't read the tag info correctly. If you only have v1, it should do fine. I found this out with KingSparta's help when I first got XP...

Thats A Windows Xp\Windows File Explorer Problem.
If You Turn Off The Write Id3v2 Tags In MJ It Will Write Id3v1.1 And It Will Work Fine Then.
Settings Plugin Manager, Input, MP3 Plugin, Config
ID3V1 Save-Create
ID3v2 Don't Save-Remove
That Will Fix It So It Works In Windows File Explorer
