If it's in a FAQ or a post (which I've scoured), I must be brain-dead for not seeing it.
I upgraded to PLUS version, 7.2, less than 3 months ago and got an email today about the 8.0.300 upgrade. I'm completely unclear about whether this upgrades 7.2 PLUS to 8.x PLUS version, or am I back with "free" 30 day trial of the FREE 8.x version with an option to upgrade to the 8.x PLUS features?
The FAQ info about using the 7.x licensing for 8.x upgrades is confusing and/or incomplete. I love the product but feel like buying another PLUS version less than 3 months out is a little unfair. Anyone have the definitive word on this? Thanks.

A 7.x license works with 8.0. It will give you all features.
A 6.x license will not.

thanks for the speedy reply. that info might be worthwhile clarifying in the purchase FAQ.

This helped me with my question, however, I bought 7.2 less than 1 month ago, and I want to upgrade to 8.0, but I am unsure as to if I download the trial version of 8.0 and it will upgrade 7.2.
I do not want to download the 8.0 trial and destroy the version I have now.
Also, why is it when I use the "check for update"button, it says there are no updates...
Where do i download the correct upgrade?
Thanks in advance,
Shawn

the check for updates button only updates new files support, you must download the new version of MJ and he unistall the version 7.2 that you have

and if you have the rrg file from MJ7.2 it works on MJ8, if you want a copy of MJ 7.2 try the old download link ftp://ftp.jriver.com/pub/downloads/music/MediaJukebox72.exe don't now if works now because in the download page there are now option to download version 7.2
