Check the wiki on playing mov files. Your choices are Quicktime (installed with iTunes) or DirectShow filters.

i checked wiki and did a search for playing .mov files and .mov files, and .mov and all searches said No results found? do you have a link for me please so i can read up on this and fix it.
one more question ive been wondering for awhile and yet to ask... are dvd files\video TS files able to be played on clients yet? is this in the works?
Thanks Jim

Streaming from a server may not work though. It may require conversion and this area isn't complete yet.
You may have to transfer the files first in order to play them. Try a local file.

ok thanks.. when you say transfer them first, do you mean by a network share?
