Title: VST plug-in under MC15 - how to make it work
Post by: Ilan on September 26, 2010, 09:26:20 am
I have MC13 working great on my HTPC (Asus P5Q-EM motherboard, WinXP, HDMI connection to HD plasma, Optical connection to 5.1 Receiver).
I want to upgrade to MC15 in order to be able to use the option to activate some VST plug-ins.

Now I have a few VST plug-ins working with an mp3 player called Foobar: When I open this player, it automatically opens the VST plug-in window, and then I could tune the VST parameters.

I tried the same with the MC15. The VST plug-in indeed works, I could hear its influence on the sound, but the VST plug-in window never opens. I tried it with a few other VST plug-ins available in the net, same.

Any idea how to fix this?

Thnx.

After you load the plugin, you have to close and restart Media Center for it to show up properly. Do you see the plugin listed in the DSP Studio?
