I noticed that when in a view I'm showing the following fields:
- Dimensions
- Durations
- File Type
- Video Standard
- File Size
the same fields are not shown in the Tag window (dunno the proper name for it) when "Show Tags in Current View" is selected in Action Window\Tag.

Yeah, I've noticed this too. Some things don't show unless you manually add them via the "Also show" function. MOSTLY, they are things that show up in the "header" of the Action Window (like many of them you listed, File Type, File Size, Duration, etc). So, those are ALREADY showing up top. If you want them to ALSO show up down below, you have to use the Also Show function.
But, some don't seem to correspond to things that show in the Header by default (Dimensions for video, and Media Type are two I can think of off the top of my head). I'm not sure why, but you can get them to show up using the "Also Show" function.

You're right: the logic seems to be mainly (Dimensions is not there) that the ones in the header are nor shown below.
But when "Show all tags" is selected that logic is not applied.
Well, I think it would be simplier (even code-wise) if MC always ignored what's in the header...

You mean that the header can be customized?
I didn't know that.
(Actually, I'd prefer to turn it off...)
