I have 3 different tv shows that i have imported every episode for at 720p. I have never had any problems either importing or playing the shows up until just recently in mc15. The last two episodes of the Big Bang Theory I have tried to import would not import properly. I did get one of them to import finally after re downloading it, now I am having the same problem with the most current episode, they play fine inside of MC15 but they wont import.
If anyone could tell me what's going on, I would appreciate it greatly.

If you're using ffdshow as a decoder, go into the video configuration and uncheck the "Don't use ffdshow in" and "Only use ffdshow in" options (under Directshow Control). If that fixes the problem, but you still want to have one of those options checked, just make sure JRWorker.exe is allowed, since that's the background application responsible for import to MC. If it still doesn't work check that the proper codecs are enabled in ffdshow.
If you don't use ffdshow, it might be some other Directshow-related problem.

Oh, I just remembered, it can be another thing too. My MC suddenly stopped importing files of any kind a while ago because the drive where the library (the database, not the media files) resides (by default the drive where MC is installed) was full. I moved the library to another drive to avoid it ever happeing again should my system drive fill up.

My default video renderer is set to "automatic" and my playback method for .mkv files is also set to "automatic".
My drives all have plenty of space on them so that's not it either.
Every thing has always worked fine except for these last two files, It has to be the files themselves.

Was the file imported with media type "data"? If so you can find it under "Documents", and change media type to video manually.

That's what I was going to suggest. I'm very skeptical that MC didn't import the files. MC will import pretty much anything. It may have very well misidentified the files and misfiled them (usually as data, but occasionally I get video files mislabeled as Audio too).

where do i get to documents in mc15, just not seeing it?
thanks

Documents should be listed right under Audio, Images, and Video. If you do not see it, maybe you have turned off the option. The option is in Tools > Options... > General > Features > Data Support.
