Title: Playlist sequence stops when playing different formats

I have a variety of files such as wmv, mov and mxf that i've added to my playlist. Sequentially playing through wmv and mov files is ok with the MC player up until i play the mxf files, which plays with VLC. MC will automaticlly open VLC to play the mxf file, which is fine, but after the mxf playback the playlist sequence stops and the next file will not be played.

Any idea why the list does not continue?

We have no way to detect the completion of playback in external programs, so starting external program playback will always halt a playlist.

Is there a reason you can't use Media Center for mxf playback?

Well, i've tried to play MXF files in Media Center, but it appears the format is not supported. I do not see MXF support in the "File Types" section either. Is there a setting somewhere that enables MC to support MXF playback?

Also, how about MJ2? will MC support this container?
