Title: change default group by?

MC15 seems to default to Group by:Album in list panes. I absolutely hate this but can't find anyway to change the default behavior.

Am I overlooking a setting somewhere?

Go to the panes drop down and you will find the group by setting which can be turned off.

Yes, that's what I've been doing. But it doesn't seem to stick. Every time I start MC, I have to do this again, which is a pain. I want to set it as the default.

When I change mine using this method it sticks. If I turn off the grouping, and shut down MC, and restart MC, the grouping is still off.

When I click on panes, I'm selecting the following:

Panes-->Group By-->None

Is this what you are doing?

Note: I'm using
MC 15.0.134
Windows 7 32 bit

Exactly what I'm doing and it never sticks. On any of my five installations.

Just one more thing that doesn't seem to work right in 15. I am so disappointed with this version.

I don't use grouping in list views and my view configurations stick just fine.

I am guessing, but maybe you are using a client and didn't make the view changes on the server. The view configurations are stored in the media library and a client loads them from the server. This has not changed in MC15 (or in the earlier MC versions).
