Title: MC 15.0.136 is crashing

I was having this problem with 15.0.95 and is continuing to occur after updating to 136.

It seems to be hanging mostly when adding album art, but has also occurred when just updating tags and a once or twice while playing audio.

same problem here. It just freezes, doesn't use CPU cycles.

Win 7 (x64) exact same problem here. Is there a pre .95 version around that I can go back to from someone, somewhere?

I reverted back to .92  and no crashing. So what's up guys??

Hmmmm.... Just FYI, this is not happening for everyone.  I'm on Windows 7 64-bit, and it has been working fine for me on MULTIPLE systems.  There were some issues with some older builds (perhaps starting around v95 or so), but those problems were resolved only days later in a subsequent build for me.

Not disputing that it is a problem for you... Just that the developers might need more info, as not everyone is seeing it.

Can you describe exactly what circumstances cause it to crash?  Do you have logging enabled?  What systems are you using it on?  Does turning off Auto-Import "solve" the issue (which would indicate that it is choking on a file it is trying to import)?

not for me. I don't use Roku or LAME. only APE.

I only play FLAC my using a M3U or using the content menu's.

I have a similar problem, that I have reported in the .136 build thread. Maybe it's the same cause. In my case, MC crashes when it tries to download the artists background images for Theatre View and the internet connection is off or unavailable. I can leave it to play for hours in standard view without any problem, but if I switch to theatre view, after a while it crashes. The only build that doesn't crash for me is 073. I'm using Win XP SP3.

only ape. But i noticed that the crash is internet related. It's most often when updating coverart or internet lookup of trackinfo.

Please update to build 142.

Then if you still experience a crash, please start a thread with as many details as possible.  Save a log file (Help > Logging) from a crash if you can.
