>> you shall pay about 15% in tax
that should be $7.50 since i said $50.00 it was worth

Don't feel bad with all our Liberals and conservitives we will soon reach 45% tax and then we can be just like the USSR and others

I can't wait untill the tax on gas goes up again...

Maybe we should all go to the tropics, it is nice on some of the islands.

We pay around $1.50-$1.60 per gallon.  And a gallon is about 3.5 litres.

We might have less of a global warming problem if the gas tax were higher.  I think you're ahead of us in Europe.

Pleasssseee.... was this mentioned by someone who sold millions of automobiles? Or maybe it was slipped by some genius from one of the thousands of industries that spew billions of tons of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere every year. Cigarettes, that takes the cake, or is it the cookie?

I think Jeremy Rifkin wrote a book explaining that global warming was caused by high levels of gas (methane?) in bovine flatulence. Too  many cows needed to feed the meat centered western diet. If true, all but vegetarians would be to blame.
