Title: tile list style for categories

A "tiles" option for the categories would be a great addition. The content should be customizeable by the user. MC currently allows the record to be viewed as tiles but I am proposing the ability to also view group of records (categories) as tiles.

To clarify the motivation, this would unify the good properties of details and thumbnail views for categories. It provides a visual cue like the thumbnail and aggregated details (i.e. average rating) like the details.
