Good day all!
I am wondering how the prebuffering works.
I have it set to 6 sec (recommended) but my songs play instantly when selected. How exactly does this prebuffering work? I definitely dont have to wait 6 seconds for music to start.
I am playing back "from memory" for what that is worth.
thanks in advance,
Patrick

Prebuffering is the (minimum) amount of decoded audio to hold in the audio chain.
Playback can begin before the buffer is completely full, and a modern computer can fill a six second buffer in a fraction of a second.
Unless you have special circumstances (like you're playing from an inconsistent home network), the default value of six seconds is recommended. The setting has no impact on audio quality.

Thanks Matt. I really appreciate the quick response.
Take care.
