I used to be able to show the My Computer security zone using the registry alteration detailed in the text file that comes with the slide show plug-in. Since switching to a new computer which uses windows 7 and Internet Explorer 8, I cannot get the My Computer icon to show up in the security settings options even when I change the flag to 47 in the registry as instructed. I am therefore plagued with constant reminders from Media Centre (15) about running potentially unsafe active x controls at the change of each song.
Can anyone advise me please.

I had the same problem.
I just found how to change the active x warning in another thread: http://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php?topic=51509.0 (http://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php?topic=51509.0)
The following change of registry value:
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\Zones\0]
"1201"=dword:00000000 ; - disable activex alert for zone "My computer"
worked for me under Windows 7 64 bit with IE 8!
Now the trackinfo slideshow works again without popup-warning.
Hope it helps,

Thanks for the tip. Unfortunately in my registry 1201 is not showing in zone 0 - do I have to add it?

Yes, I also had to add the value "1201".

Can you tell me how to add it please

I am no real regedit specialist but I try to explain:
1. Open regedit
2. Navigate to "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\Zones\0"
3. Edit->New->DWORD 32bit
Type "1201"
Then it should look like this:

4. Close regedit
5. Start MC15 with the Trackinfo-Slideshow: No more popup with active-x (hopefully).
