Title: Thumbnails for Videos
Post by: chromathegreat on November 07, 2010, 10:57:55 pm
Hey, I'm fairly new to Media Center, but so far I love it.

For movies, I want to see the files individually, i.e. one cover art image per file, and that's great.  I can't figure out a way to have this NOT happen for TV shows, though.

I have tv shows grouped in folders on my hard drive by series, then season.  What I'd like to have is a view where I can see cover art for each season, but every time I try to organize it, it shows stacked thumbnails for the entire series, or individual episodes, but I cannot seem to get an in-between view, like seasons.

I keep messing around with pane views and the tree and whatnot, but I just seem to be disorganizing myself more.

If anyone could help me with this, I would greatly appreciate it.

You can make categories for seasons, genres, or any other field.

However, the artwork for a category will always be made from a stack of the files inside the category.

We would like to add a way to assign category artwork in a future version.

I would love that, I've been asking for this for ages.
