I'm looking forward to a big event next weekend. I'm going to use MC for music (as I do for years now). But I need the possibility to use a TrackInfo-Page showing an integrated visualization. I want the guests to know what dance they could (should) do for a playing song and how long it still plays. Worked fine till MC15.0.80.
Now: is there anyone out there who could help me out with the last Version of MC15 prior MC15.0.80 or (which would be even better 8) ) can give me a hint of how I could this thing get working again...?! Or is it impossible to get this working with a current Version of MC15? You can take a look at the trackinfo page here (http://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php?topic=44761.msg306695#msg306695).
Thanks!
edit: link corrected

The way that MC and COM work has been changed, and this is part of the fallout unfortunately. There is no work around.
I'll PM a download link for build 79 in a minute or two...

Actually, I got that a little bit wrong, vizualisations were changed from COM to C++ interfaces, and that's why they no longer work inside track info templates...
PM sent.

The integration of C++ interfaces into track info templates is impossible?!
Thanks for the file! I got it!

You're welcome.
The integration of C++ interfaces into track info templates is impossible?!
Back in July, Matt said:
I should add a disclaimer that embedding 2D visualizations in Track Info pages is no longer possible.
IE can show COM controls and 2D visualizations used to be a COM control.
Now visualizations are C++ interfaces like all other plugins (except interface plugins). There is no easy way to inject a C++ interface into IE, without making a COM wrapper. Even then, piping the data (since Media Center didn't create the interface directly) is difficult.
Hopefully this won't be too big a deal to anyone.
