Video won't play When I attempt to play a video from youtube inside jriver media center. JRiver will download ffdshow codecs when you attempt to play a youtube video for the first time. after it installs it attempts to play but fails. though after ffdshow install, "Windows Media Player" can successfully play the video if I have previously downloaded it from within jriver media center. I use Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit with 6gigs of ram and a nvidia GTS 450 video card on a core i7 2.8Ghz Intel processor motherboard.

You are right. I noticed something strange earlier this evening when the video would
go into prolonged buffering like it is known to do in Entertainment View - now it locks up the Media Center. Hopefully this is something temporary.

Make sure you are using the latest MC build (build 157).
Long buffering at the beginning is expected in this version and I am still working on improving it. Locking up MC is not normal and I have not been able to reproduce it.

What happens when you try to play a YouTube video? Any error messages? Which YouTube video did you try to play?

Yaobing,
Am running 15.0.157 now instead of 15.0.150
Yes, the YouTube videos continue to buffer for a long time before playing, but I
haven't encountered any lockups with the new version.
