Title: gbridge for remote disk drive
Post by: TXgary on November 30, 2010, 08:48:40 pm
Is there a way to use gbridge to remotely access my library file.
Let's say my media library is on drive F and I want to access it remotely with my laptop.
Can I set up gbridge so it will look like my home drive F is drive F on my laptop remotely?
Thanks for all your help.

Did you try WebPlay?  You can use a browser to play from your home server.

You'll  need your router to do IP translation for the port you use.  Our wiki has an article called Network Access (http://wiki.jriver.com/index.php/Network_Access).

Try inside your network first and get that going.
