Title: wrong tag importing filename with iso-latin characters

De Palmas - La dernière année - 01 - La Malédiction.ogg

I get the following tags:

album tag: La derniÃ¨re annÃ©e
title tag: La MalÃ©diction

I saw this song with hebrew tags on a p2p and got it
Inside MJ i have the kind of tags you see on this post

BUT
In the player windows-bottom left,when i play the songs,i get the tags in hebrew...

It is more that i would like to know "why" that get any help

Not in my case: I see also "La derniÃ¨re annÃ©e" in the player windows.

I checked in the file (with WordPad): indeed there is "La derniÃ¨re annÃ©e"" but both WinVorbis and Winamp 2.80 display the right text "La dernière année".

I can send an ogg file if you need it.

I retyped the tag with MJ. Now MJ displays it normally ("La dernière année" instead of "La derniÃ¨re annÃ©e").

BUT both WinVorbis and Winamp display it wrong ("La derni? ann?" in Winvorbis, "La derni " in Winamp).

So I think that MJ is not using the right character format for ogg file (I have no problem with mp3 file).

No, I encode my own albums into ogg files.
