I posted a problem I had a few days ago, got some advice but I am still having the same problem. I now have a few more details to add.
My original problem is that when I set MS (Media Scheduler) to record using the mike or line-in connections, everthing works fine until MS counts down from 9 0r 10 and when it is time to record, I get the FATAL ERROR HAS OCCURED, and I am forced to shut down the program. Whether these following items are relevant or not I can't say since I am a bit of a novice at this. Anyway here are the details:
(1.)
I am running the latest version of MP. I have installed, uninstalled and reinstalled MP. I am using Windows 98
(2.)
When I get the Fatal error message, I clicked on details and the following drops down:
MEDIA JUKEBOX caused an invalid page fault in module MSVCRT20.DLL at 0167:7fc37939.

(3.)
When I right click on the MS icon in the lower right hand corner of the desk top in the tool bar, I get a drop down menu. When I choose either "Start Media Jukebox" or "Start Media Server" I get the fatal error message.
(4.)
I occasionally get the fatal error message shortly after I open MJ, usually just after I begin to try any task.
(5.)
My computer at work which is also running windows 98 has no problem running MS. It may be my imagination, but I think that the graphics on that computer seem sharper and deeper, where on this computer they are hazy and rather broken looking.
I would appreciate any help anyone can lend. Other than this problem, MJ is a really great program. THANKS!!

Jamie,
Did you tried the alternative solution I suggested on a different thread? The following is the alternative method to schedule a recording.
Create a custom task, select the path to Media Jukebox.exe. Under Command Line enter (/StartRecord /src:1 /art:"artist name" /alb:"album name"). the 1 after /src: means microphone, Line-in would be 0, CD Audio would be 2..... artist name and album name are optional. Unfortunately custom task do not have a stop time. if you still have problem you can email me at hftey @ jriver.com

Jamie,
If you're reporting on the same problem, it is helpful to us if you use the same thread and just do a "reply" instead of staring a new thread.
Thanks,
Jim
