Title: Plug-Ins

If I'm actually able to get a plug-in to download without getting the "Invalid Package File" error, I have no idea where it is downloading itself to or where I can find it to install it.

Sorry if it's glaringly obvious and I can't see it.

Try using IE to get plugins.

I am using IE6.0 for the download.
