Title: remove volume bar when using dac -> amp
Post by: NRGman on December 08, 2010, 07:24:53 pm
How would i completely remove volume controls when i have it set it to use my dac as the volume control, as i have no use for it and its disabled so no need to see it, if i wanted it back I'd set the volume control back to j. river.

You could try all three volume modes.  If you choose one the system / hardware can't support, the volume control will not be available.

If there are others that want this, we could consider adding a fourth volume mode "Disabled".

I currently have it set so that my usb dac is the controller of the volume that part is fine, i just wish to remove the volume slider as its not needed.

You can't remove it.

I mentioned it once already, I'd like this option for my HTPC.
