Title: Mac Mini problem with 15.0.163
Post by: nilbor on December 09, 2010, 01:47:49 pm
It fails to install on my mac mini 2010, bootcamp, windows 7, 64 bit. Says something like "invalid environment" in a popup after install is complete.

Update: It seems to be ok know. I did the upgrade, got the error message, but looking at the version number in the help menu it seems like version 163 was installed after all.

Did you have to do anything special to get audio to work?
I'm running MC15 on windows 7 bootcamp partition on MacBook pro unibody.
I've tried all the audio settings and I get nothing out though it is playing.
Thanks.

Audio worked by default settings for me, but I have seen similar issues in previous setups (non mac bootcamp). First, make sure your amp/ preamp works ok, check that you hdmi cable (if using such a thing) is properly connected, a loose connector could cause this. Then check audio config in MC (ctrl-o). Things to check: set audio device, check chosen codec, check upsampling (disable if it is enabled).
