Title: MC15 on Windows7 Bootcamp Partion MacBook Unibody
Post by: Robb on December 13, 2010, 12:02:21 am
I can not get any sound when a song is playing.  ?

I'm running MC15 on windows 7 bootcamp partition on MacBook pro unibody.  :-\
I've tried changing the audio settings in options and I get nothing out through headphone jack nor speakers though with other, non MC, aps sound works.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Robb,

I'm running a late 2008 MBP (Unibody) with SL and Win7 x64 boocamped. My bootcamp version is 3.2 and the Audio shows up as Realtek HD Audio.
I did nothing special to have music from my speakers. MC is set to use the "Primary Sound Device" and Directsound. Both Default settings.
I also use WASAPI Event style with no problems. This is with just the built in speakers, no digital out.

What type of files are you trying to play?

Great, it's just me  ;)

I'm trying to play garden variety mp3s at this time.

My bootcamp intstall is very minumal, win7 and mc15. Thats it. Maybe I need to instal QuickTime since it's a Mac.

Do you guys have QuickTime installed?

Yes.  And CCCP.

But Bootcamp isn't special because it is a Mac.  It is just Windows.  Make sure to upgrade to the latest version of Bootcamp (3.2) because there are some fixes involved.  I also then update my video card drivers using special modded 3rd party ones, but you can probably pass on this unless you have videocard related issues.
