Title: Coolest handheld to control J River
Post by: thunderstorm77 on December 14, 2010, 03:01:58 am
What is currently the coolest handheld, touchscreen device that can control J River playback? I'm thinking about IPad, Galaxy Tab etc. I have used the IPhone browser solution to navigate and control, and I think it works very well. Just want to check before getting an IPad...

With the iPad, you can use our WebRemote browser solution.  You could try it from another PC now to see what you think.  Take a look on the Media Network board here for more information.

Better would be an Android where you can use Gizmo.  At this time, my favorite for this purpose is the Samsung Galaxy Tab. I bought one a couple weeks ago.  More here:

Jim - thanks for the advice. I got the Galaxy Tab, and Gizmo is absolutely fantastic! I have only tried for audio so far.
