Title: How to set preference for "remove duplicates of"?
Post by: chrisjj on December 15, 2010, 03:35:38 pm
Is there any way for "Remove duplicates of" to set which duplicates of an expression field are removed?

I have "Remove duplicates of" on a library field, expression [Name]-[Artist]-[Year], but I want it to remove the lowest ratings, so it shows just the top rated recording of each performance.

Thanks.

I find pre-sort by Rating (Z-A) works... though it leaves only one of the top rated. If anyone knows how to leave all, please do tell!

FTR: the Customise View rules recipe is ~sort=[Rating]-d ~nodup=[Name],[Artist],[Year] .
