Title: How does one get CTRL+Q "search within a list" to work?
Post by: chrisjj on December 21, 2010, 05:08:09 pm
http://wiki.jriver.com/index.php/Quick_Search says:

You can quickly search within a list in the content pane (or within a search) by pressing Ctrl+Q.

The F3 key will continue the previous Quick Search.

Example: If you have done a search on Bob Dylan, you may have over 50 hits. You can then search that list for "tangled up in blue" by pressing Ctrl+Q.

but here CTRL+Q does nothing. Likewise the equivalent menu command Edit | Quick Search .

CTRL+F is the key that activates Quick Search here, but it too doesn;t do a "search within" - it clears the existing search terms.

Thanks.
