Quick question for anyone who can help.
I got a WDTV Live Plus yesterday and hooked it up today. It shows up under Playing Now as suspected and I sent a playlist there, which shows in queue, but when I try to play, I get this error:
"There was a problem controlling the selected DLNA device. Double-check your device, server and network settings."
I have current firmware on the WDTV (1.04.10_B).
I have DLNA server, renderer and controller all on.
MC build 15.0.167
Any thoughts? Thanks
Andy

Did you try restarting the device?
Can you play a single track?
What's in the playlist? Try simplifying it.

I just power-failed the WDTV. Cannot play a single track...same message. There is just one track in the queue under Playing Now.Do I need to open ports on the internal network?

Also update your player to 15.0.171. It's on the download page.

OK...Updated to build 171 and when the WDTV came back online all is working.
Thanks for the help Jim. This is beginning to come together, so I can upgrade now from MC13 to 15. I'll play with video next, but music was my primary goal for the WDTV.
Happy Holidays.
