Title: Compatibilty of Sony KDS-R70XBR2 HDTV...
Post by: KMorley on December 23, 2010, 09:41:06 am
I bought a Sony KDS-R70XBR2 Rear Projector LCoS Grand Wega HDTV in 2006.  It has a variety of inputs on the back and I'm questioning whether it has DLNA capability to use with MC15.  I don't see anything in the specs or manual about DLNA.  How can I tell for sure?

Thanks!

It's unlikely to support DLNA or its cousin UPnP.

Does it have any network capability?

Adding a Blu-ray player might be the simplest, most cost effective way to get DLNA.  Sony has not been in the lead with DLNA.  Samsung or LG might be better.  Reading the posts on this board might help.
