Cant get it to start at all now. It's clocking on something and will eventually crash.

Reboot. Turn on logging in MC Help. After a crash, look at the end of the "Previous log".
Disable any third-party plug-ins, etc.

its running now but working extremely slow. Must wait a long time for anything to happen. Scrolling the window etc. Win 7 gives this explanation.
It hasn't crashed yet so I don't have a log to fetch.

Try viewing the current log.

Ok here are a couple of logs. App is still running but seems to go off and think for awhile (3-5 min) and then I can click on something. Sometimes I can complete it, like getting to the help > log > open current. Sometimes just highlight the box causes it to just freeze.
How do I attach a file?
-
This just sounds like a virus checker spending a lot of time with each file. Or something similar. Are they on a network drive?
The Appcrash info from Windows isn't useful. There's no need to post it.

I turned off all the automatic look ups. Thats' what was causing the issue.
My virus checker was not running. Log shows it was MC. Look ups going across the web were taking forever... xmas holiday and everyone hitting the YADB ?
