I am trying to import some wav files into Media Jukebox. It does read the files, but then it says in details, that they all failed.
They are all wav files. I could play them at home using winamp and windows media player, but I can't import them into Media Jukebox.
Also I can play them using my windows media player on my pc, but can't bring them into media Jukebox.
HELP
Alice.

Hello alice,
It is strange. Can you play the wav files in MJ (without importing) ?
Using File/Open Media File or drag'n drooping in MJ player window.

Sounds like mp3's dressed up as .wav files. (the old school ACM codecs approach, which MJ doesn't currently support)
What happens if you rename one of the files .mp3?
Thanks.

I saved it as an mpeg-3 file and that didn't work.
When I try to open it as a media file, a pop up window appears that says "Please select file to play" over and over again

mmmh, have you any idea about the software that generated those files ?
Also can you play the windows sounds (wav format) in C:\Windows\Media with MJ ?
