Title: Library server - compressed library?

I was reading through the library server wiki and ran across this

Examining the Library

On the server, the library is compressed into a zip file. This file is located in the temporary directory, in

JRTemp\Library Server Library - <random number> .zip

Can somebody explain this?  Does it take all my music files and compress them into a zip or am I misunderstanding this?

It's just the database that gets zipped.
