It works for European dates as well.  When will that happen again?

Happy New Year!  But as vast majority of the world use dd-mm-yyyy or yyyy-mm-dd ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Date_and_time_notation_by_country ) don't you mean.... ;D

I guess I should have been born in china Or "ISO 8601" Land

there date format makes more sense to me.
