Title: Hauppage remote control: how can I control MC with it?

Hello all.
I've received a Hauppage MC remote control kit, model 226 from my hardware supplier. I figured I could use that with MC.
I installed the thing but now I want to start MC and control it as well with this thing.
So how do I tell the unit to start MC when I hit the green button? I thought I've seen a similar question awhile ago, but I can't find it with the search option.

Thanks for your quick reply, Jim. But I don't think you quite understood what I meant. Let me put it this way:
- I did not buy the JR remote control but the Hauppage MC remote control kit, model 226. Are they the same?
- when I push the green button I get the Theater View of Windows. I want it changed so that MC's Theater View is started
- I just want to control my PC - not my TV or stereoset
- the Help-page you refer to doesn't answer the questions I have, nor does the HP-link that's mentioned on it

I thought the instructions had information on this but it didn't.  I've added this:

"If Windows Media Center starts when you press the Green Button, you can check the box under Theater View options called "Disable Windows Media Center ..."

Under MC Options for Remote Control, you may also need to turn on one or more devices.  MCE Remote and Hid?

I've checked the box under Theater View options called "Disable Windows Media Center ...
And I've checked the MCE remote in the options.
