Title: "Find Music" missing from Organization Tree
Post by: treppenwitz on June 12, 2002, 01:05:51 am
Newbie question:  I just downloaded and installed MJ8.  After the initial scan of my hard drive for media types, I added another default type to associate.  I'm trying to re-scan my drive, but don't find any way to do this.  The User Guide (http://www.musicex.com/mediajukebox/guide2.html#find) says, '...To locate files, click "Find Music" in the Organization Tree....'

There is no "Find Music" in my organization tree.

How do I enable this?  Why is a big chunk of functionality apparently missing?  There is no help topic in MJ8 on "Find Music".

To re-scan your drive with the new association selected, go to Tools>Import Media, select the appropriate drive by clicking on the button to the right of the Search window.

If you're looking to find a specific file that you've already imported, there is a search window at the top of the Media Library View.
