Title: just installed MC 15. Shuts down when trying to play M4A files

Long time MC user here... Maybe 6 years now and love it.  Turned many friends on to it..   

I just upgraded to MC 15.  I restored my library from MC14.  So far so good except it will not play M4A files. It actually shuts down abruptly when i click on an M4A file.  Any ideas?

There are two ways to play M4A files.  With Quicktime or with DirectShow.  Directshow is preferred.  Please see this article on our wiki:

Thanks...  Sorrry about that.  being a long time MC user i should have searched the help topics before posting. I see its a common question out there.
