Looking at the MCWS docs page for Playback/PlayByKey, the notes for the Album parameter state
Album: Set to 1 to play the entire album starting at this file.
I tested playing a track that resides in the middle of its album, and the entire album was still queued. Are the notes incorrect in this case? It's not a dealbreaker for me, as at this point I'm not seeing exactly how useful that would be.

It should play the whole album, starting at the key specified. It's similar to the default behavior when double-clicking a file in a middle of an album in Standard View. Playing Now contains all the files, and the clicked one plays first.
Is that not what it's doing?

No that is not the behavior when I pass a value of 1 to the Album parameter. Playing Now is replaced with that album like in Standard View. However playback always begins with the first track of the album, regardless of which track key I choose throughout the album.
