Title: Anomaly in the AUDIO "album view" library of MediaCenter 15.0.172
Post by: pesitalia on January 17, 2011, 10:25:41 am
I just unloaded MediaCenter to give it a try. Once installed I opened the application and loaded an audio folder containing 7 albums. Now 5 of them are shown correctly (Cantate Domino, Hope, Live- Forthnight in France, The Jazz Side of The Moon) while 2 of them are broken down into single or double file albums (Conjure, Genius Loves Company). I have enclosed a couple of screen shots. Please advise where I am wrong.

Regards

Welcome to the forum.  Try using the View menu or CTRL-U several times.  It cycles through views.

That view groups tracks using [Album Artist (auto)]. This wiki entry (http://wiki.jriver.com/index.php/Using_Album_Artist_and_Album_Artist_(Auto)) explains how that works. In short, you probably have values in [Album Artist] that are causing this. If so, delete them. To see these additional fields, right-click on the file list column header and select them from the list.
