Post by: ARCOUM on January 18, 2011, 11:33:39 am
i plan to buy a XS35GT SHUTTLE (because is fanless) to listen music and watch movies in my living room.
i will add a SSD.

This PC is limit 2 GB of RAM. I thin'k is not enough to run windows 7 64 bits.

Does windows 7 professionnal 32 bit is ok to read hi res music file et hd movies ?
Do you seen some trouble with windows 7 / 32 bit version  with JRiver CENTER MEDIA?
Does it sound good like 64 bit ?

There should be very little differences in requirements of RAM with either 32 bit OS or 64 bit OS. 64 bit OS means that it will take advantage of more RAM than 32 bit does. It's not given that it needs more RAM. Run 64 bit right away and never look back. Win7 64 bit has such great support, there is no good reason not to use it.
