Title: burning cd's and windows media player
Post by: flagg on September 18, 2003, 03:19:06 pm
I've used mj for about two years now and have been pretty much satisfied.  Until now.  I have made cd's from wav files, mp3 files, I've converted to .ape files, and many other things.

This is my problem.  I've got windows media files that I want to burn onto cd.  But mj won't do it.  I've tried to convert the files and it just seems that mj will not convert to wav so that I can make an audio cd.  I want the windows media converted to wav for the audio cd.  Anybody know how I can do this? :'(

MJ8 it does convert to wave, however if the sample rate is not 44.1 (thats what wave is) then it may not work.

why not just burn windows media direct to audio. you do not need to convert to wave first.

How would a standard cd player read that?  Wouldn't it be a wmp file instead of a wav file?  My cd player (car) doesn't recognize windows media.

I did not say Burn a Data CD.

Select Your Windows Media Files.

Push The "burn" Icon

When It Askes You Data CD Or Audio CD Select {X} Audio CD

than A Audio CD Will Be Burned.

Instead of converting to a wav file, convert the wma's to mp3's . . . MJ8 should be able to burn an audio CD using mp3's . . . although it will take longer beause of the decoding.
