I'm using MC15.0.172 registered at Windows XP SP3.
I have huge library ripped through iTunes as m4a.
Those 'm4a's are with embedded cover arts, however after migrating from iTunes to JriverMC15, I can not see cover arts.
Is there any one can help me?
Plz...

unfortunately m4a is not a fully supported format by MC, you can play and convert them (via directshow filters), and read its tags, but you cant write tags to the file, all the tags changes remains on MC library, and recently I noticed that you have to manually add cover art because cant read it from the file. I hope this changes as almost every other player out there are capable of fully manage m4as :'(

+1 for this. I think better support for m4a files is a priority. When you buy audio on iTunes, it comes in that format. I think iTunes is the main/only legal download platform in many (small) countries.

you can, sort of..at least update the tags from MC with http://atomicparsley.sourceforge.net/
so you send the meta data in the mc fields via command line (send to external)
works for me :)

My embedded cover art for m4a's shows up in j river.
I didn't put it there with i tunes though.
From what i remember from my very brief use of itunes years ago was that the art was never embedded.
It was linked to or something. May have changed or maybe im wrong. Anyways....
I added cover art to mine with a program called tag&rename. I also used it to add/edit the tag fields.
J river was able to read most of them.

Many of us use third party soft to tag, is a workaround but not a solution! Its very annoying have to open another program when you can use the power of MC. Fully support of m4a's will make MC a more complete program for the ones who have their collection or buy music in that format
