Title: Cable Tacker - Cable Staples - Best Product for Securing Cables
Post by: roognation on February 05, 2011, 01:12:31 am
Wondering if anyone has a recommendation on a cable tacker or cable stapler; I have owned a number of Arrow models and was not that impressed (insulated staples worked about 65% of the time).  I need to secure some RG6Q and some CAT5e in an attic and thought it would be a nice time to ask the forums for suggestions before I buy new.

Thx

Good question.  I too have an Arrow, and I don't really like it.

I just use the nail-in cable straps.  I've never found a staple gun that did the job without crushing the cable or threatening to hole them.

Sure it takes more time.  But done right, you only do it once.
