Using Slide Show is like discussing German philosophy with a speed freak. It's impossible to follow the train of thought, but its interesting, to say the least.
Got this one while playing Peggy Stern (pianist).

PS: Is that your boat, Shelley?
Listening to: 'Star Eyes' from 'Room Enough' by 'Peggy Stern ' on Media Jukebox

I got 71 pictures when listening to Tony Joe White live in Europe 1971
Not even one with the smaller link with the record i was listening to!
For me there is 2 problems;Goodle does not give pictures from mp3.com and-if i am not wrong-gives only .com,not .org-.fr-.co.il and so on
Anyway slide show and get sleeves make you save on substances,so they are 2 nice plug-in
-
Now,let be serious
When you see a picture you like in slideshow, any way to save it and use it as local image ?
-
You should be able to right click on the image and do "save as".
-
And there is no extra charge for pictures like Peggy's Stern. It's all in the basic slide show plug-in.
-
in this case the SlideShow (Google search engine) was quite accurate considering the information it got

the picture that was pulled is " the stern of the Peggy" and the link is
http://www.castletown.org.im/heritage/images/peggy_stern.jpg
"Built in 1789, the Peggy was a schooner-rigged, clinker-built yacht 26ft 5ins overall length, 7ft 8ins beam, with an inside depth of 6ft. The Admiralty licence which was issued to her in 1793 describes her as of 6.5 tons burthen, and details her armament as six small swivels and six fowling pieces. In fact, she was equipped with eight cannon, six 1ft long mounted three a side, and two slightly longer as stern chasers"
the whole story is at:

It is a great source of entertainment. Some of my favorite pop/rock bands to play with slide show:
A House, Aberdeen, Air Miami, The Apartments, The Autumn Leaves, The Bats, Belly, The Bible, Black box Recorder, The Bluebells, Brian (yes, the band's name is just "Brian"), Camper Van Beethoven, The Church, Downy Mildew, Drive, The Fairways, Felt, Hefner, Ivy, Kitchens Of Distinction, The Lucy Show, Marine Research, The Mock Turtles, The Orange Peels, The Orchids, The Pastels, The Pixies, Placebo, Red Soda, Ride, The Sea Urchins, The Shins, The Shoestrings, Tiger Trap, The Trash Can Sinatras, The Watermelon Men, The Windmills, The Zombies, The Seeds, the . . . well you get the picture . . . hope it's the right one, though . . .

Slide Show just *rocks*. I'm totally impressed with it, and found it well worth my $10.
-
the watermelon mem from Sweeden?
-
Yes, from Sweden
I knew that if anyone would have heard of them, it'd be you, Zevele10, . . .
Not saying slide show isn't worth the money--it is, just not necessarily for the purpose intended.
Sometimes, I just sit and wonder what'll pop up next.
That makes it less predictable than television.
I've cancelled my cable subscritpion . . .
Listening to: 'Chupacabras' from 'Radiator' by 'Super Furry Animals' on Media Jukebox

Bipolar,
Is one of your personalities Mhorton?
Jim
-
No criticism intended - just having a few laughs. Like watching Fernwood Tonight.
HTH
-
One of my personalities? Haven't a clue as to what you could mean by that. But, come to think of it, I do seem to remember getting some email and other stuff under that name a while back, and wondered about it. I'd knock on the little window and ask the orderly--if they'd only unbind my hands a tad.
Patrick

HTH
Because he his the ultimate Slide Show;all the pictures are him.But he has this pluging since much much more time tham MJ
Michel
-
Hey Zev
You don't actually need to saveas from MJ.
The images are downloaded into your Temp directory.
I my case C:\Windows\Temp, and they stay there so that you can copy them wherever you like, resample etc later.
-
> I'd knock on the little window and ask the orderly--if they'd only unbind my hands a tad.
It is him, and he calls himself Patrick now. Well, there must be good reason.
-
The music list was a dead giveaway.
-
Yeah, but it is still troubling for his friends. You think he's OK, and then, bang, he morphs into some other character. Un peu triste.
-
Must be a desert thing.... I know when the heat is on around here I'd like to morph into a polar bear or something.

< PS: Is that your boat, Shelley?>
No, it's not. I know that because mine doesn't have a keel
Listening to: 'How Deep Is The Ocean (how Blue Is The Sky)' from 'The Columbia Years 1943-1952 (Disk 04)' by 'Frank Sinatra' on Media Jukebox

he could be on the lam, trying to stay one step ahead of the man
or he could be jealous of all the really cool names used by fellow interactors
or he could be easily bored
or he he could suffer from disassociative identity
or he could forget his login info, and make up a temp one real quick and forget to change back
or, in reading a thread in which people were talking about old star trek episodes, he thought it would be funny to pitch in with a new name, only to find the thread closed before he could post
or all of the above/none of the above
who knows with him
Michael

Make up your mind, Patrick!
Unmasked!
I had been seriously disturbed (in a quite different way, of course) that mhorton had gone awol.
Welcome back, but uh, who's the other bipolar?
-
i guess one thing appealing about the internet is the faceless anonymity and the lack of expectations of a staid, consistent personality that exists in my real world
it can make one forget that friendship is a two-way street
thanks for the reminder
Michael
-
You're welcome, and I'm glad that you are sort of OK.
Now, to keep your mind focused, is it hotter where you are or where Zevele is?
He said it was 42 centigrade a couple days ago.

We will send a felt-tipped pen to the winner.
-
>>>I know when the heat is on around here I'd like to morph into a polar bear or something
Can't believe hours when bye without someone asking if you wouldn't really rather be a Bipolar Bear?
(sorry)
-
Yes, i'm seriously ok (better, actually)
quite focused in real life (out of necessity)
leisure of distraction saved for online (the opportunity for a meandering mind is the greatest luxury in life)
the other bipolar is a mystery
was 116 f. all last week
unsual summer cooling spell the past 3 days--hovering at 100 f.
they never take those temperatures at blacktop level
or when first entering a parked car
we'll get 118-120 soon enough (but, it cools off to 90 f. around 4:00 AM, so it's not too bad)
some years it reaches 120-125 for a spell in July/August
not too bad, it'll start to cool off sometime between Thanksgiving and New Years
Michael (for now)
-
I thought polar bears were bipolar. Similar symptoms it seems. Undermotivated and sleeping half the time. And the other half, they have inflated egos, abnormally elevated and irritable moods that are not related to substance abuse or a medical condition and which that lasts for at least a week, increased energy and activity, rapid thinking and agitation, decreased sleep, poor judgment (they're forever getting stuck on those melting ice sheets or walking in to Inuit villages), increased sex drive, provocative or obnoxious behavior, obsessive-compulsive behavior (re food and sex), and lastly, a denial of the problem. Textbook case if ever there was.

new favorite funny slide show artist--The Smiths.
No, it's Shack.
Hey, the band is "Adorable," not "The Babys."
