Hi,
I purchased MC 15 and downloaded last version.
My sistem:
Acer Aspire One (windows XP SP3)
HI-Face by MKII
DAC -Zero Supporting 24/192Khz
I set the Audio Output in MC15 to Kernel Streaming and the Hiface KS in the Output Options.
In the DSP section I chose "no resampling" for sample rate and "24 bit" for bitdepth.
Everything seems to go well but I noticed that when a 24/192 track is playing, the DAC receives a 24/96 signal.
I tried to choose resample all source in the DSP studio: all the tracks 24/192 play perfectly (the best sound I have ever heard) but all the tracks with a sample rate under 192 (i.e. 16/44, 24/96) start buffering every 30 seconds and it's impossible to play them.
Have anyone experienced the same trouble? Any suggestion?
Many thanks from Italy.

Tools->Options->Audio->Audio Output->Output mode settings...
Try increasing buffering.
Otherwise is your machine on the slower side? If so you could try disabling your virus checker and any other background programs.

Thank you for your post.
I increased buffering till 4 seconds but no differences here.
I will try to stop some processes in background but I don't know so well which are strictly necessary ?
Thanks again.

Well, I increased buffer in MC15 at maximum.
I closed all processes in background untill XP had no problems.
Memory usage is less than 35% and processes running only 34 (they were 48).
Now oversampling to 192 KHz is good for flac files over 44Khz but it still remains a problem for 44KHz files: after 30 seconds buffering starts and playing stops.
Now I don't know what I can do furthermore.
Thank for anyone can suggest something.

Your machine may not be powerful enough to convert 44.1 to 192 without pausing to buffer occasionally.
It's debated, but with a good DAC, I don't think there's a clear argument for resampling to a higher sample rate. You might just disable resampling.

Thank you Matt for your post.
I think you are right. I tried oversampling also with Foobar and the same problem occurred.
Now in MC15 - DSP Options, I chosed to resampling only the files over 44.1 and no other stops occurred during playback.
My DAC is quite good and CD quality is not too bad ;D.
Thank you again.
