Title: HRT Musicstreamer II+

Hello.

I've just downloaded Music Center 15.  I'm using a Musicstreamer II+.  On Direct Sound it works nicely.  I tried Kernel Stream and it will play for around 1 second and then it goes silent.  Wasapi gets an error message, "Could not be started using format 44,100 Hz, 24 bits"

Any suggestions on how to get these other formats going would be appreciated.

You could try these pages from our Wiki:

Make sure nothing else is using WASAPI in exclusive mode.

You can use DSP Studio to resample to whatever the device expects.

Please report the full version of MC and what OS you're using.

WASAPI should work.

What does the device accept?

Does it have an ASIO driver?

I followed the links you provided.  I needed to alter the DSP output format.  It's working.

I'm also using Musicstreamer II+, OS Windows 7 and for Mediacenter I use WASAPI Event Style it works great for me. If I am correct informed WASAPI is designed for Windows 7
and if you give your DAC exklusive mode you have Mediacenter streaming everything bitperfect to your DAC. Try it you can't go wrong.

I'm using WASAPI Event Style for my MusicStreamer II.

I've upped the buffering to 250 milliseconds and set Resample to All sources, Sample Rate to 96KHz and bit depth to 24.

Everything else I tried gave me grief.
