Hi,

I would like to take benefit of the transition to MC16 to reiterate a request for the MCWS functions:http://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php?topic=56541.msg413631#msg413631 (http://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php?topic=56541.msg413631#msg413631)

I would appreciate to be able to add songs as "next to play" or "play now" via the WebRemote, without breaking the Playing Now list. This could be done through the PlayByKey location...

Is it possible with the present WebRemote to enqueue a song as "next to play"? The idea is to tweak the html files. I can already add a file at the top or end position (or specified index) of the Playing Now playlist with the PlayByKey function and its location parameter but can't find a way to have it as next to play.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

NetRemote (which I would love to get rid of) works like this - gives you the option to add, play next etc...

Would it be possible, eg, to add a "Next" location to the PlayByKey MCWS function. There's already an "End" location...

I'll +1 this as well, 'Next to play' is nice when making an 'on-the-fly' playlist.

Coming in 16.0.89 (and later):
SDK: Added support for Location=Next to MCWS/v1/Playback/PlayByKey so that a file can be set as the next to play.

We are not going to update the stock WebRemote to add this functionality, so we'll leave that to the user.
