Title: Media Center 16 Beta ripping problem
Post by: rkhorton on March 11, 2011, 12:51:02 pm
I am running Media Center 16 but have a quirky problem when ripping a CD.  Media Center does not start the ripping process at track 1 but rather track 2. You have to uncheck track 1 then recheck it.  If you don't it will not rip.  Any ideas?

Another user saw this same problem in the last 2 or 3 weeks.  It's under investigation.

If you can find that thread (on the MC15 board?) please post the brand of drive you're using.

Sorry for the trouble.

Thanks for the help with my ripping problem.  The ripping drive is a HP External 24X Multiformat DVD/CD Writer model dvd 1270e  I will be looking forward to the fix for this problem.  Regards, Richard  PS: How do I pay for the version 16 upgrade?  How about posting alink on the purchase page to do this.

I am having a similar problem, when I insert a CD to rip it just gives me track 1 track 2 track 3 and so on. There is no Artist and track names for my library from the disk. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Thanks      :)

It sounds like the disc info is not yet in the database.  Help the database grow by entering and submitting correct info:
