Title: MC15 MC16 both crash when starting a rip

I tried to rip a DVD today, Both MC15 MC16 will crash when the rip starts.  APPCRASH, Win7 Ultimate 32bit, EI8

Very interesting situation.  On two different PCs, the startup processes are different.  Sometimes two instances of MC16 will be there, and some times two instances of JRweb.  Soemtimes MC16 starts in the new library I was trying to create, and today it started with the old library.  This is very confusing.  Is there any logic to how things should start up?
