Title: To Sync or Not To Sync..
Post by: mkyle on March 15, 2011, 08:35:33 pm
I've never really gotten the hang of the music sync feature.  Sure it works if I make a new playlist, but I keep losing my playlists (every update) so I end-up having songs on my player that are no longer in-sync with MC.  To get it back together I have to create a playlist of songs on my player, export it to m3u then edit it with a text editor, reload it then resync.. *whew*

Is there an easier way?

It doesn't make sense that you are "losing" your playlists. What kind of MP3 player do you have? What type of playlist does it support?

I'd had two Sansa's and now an android phone (Samsung Captivate).  What's the diff?  It's not the playlist on the player that's getting lost.. it's the playlist in the PC that I sync it with.

Any ideas on how to recreate a playlist in MC from the music on my microSD card without using a text editor are greatly appreciated.
